VEILLEUSE DE L’HORIZON is the twenty-first entry in ART TEES, Chaton Fier’s numbered series of wearable works.
A solitary figure kneels beneath an immense blue sky, framed by distant mountains, desert-gold earth, and a pale celestial body suspended above the horizon.
Rich turquoise, crimson, feathers, ornament, and flowing black hair give the portrait ceremonial weight, while the stillness of the landscape shifts the image away from conquest and toward reflection.
She appears to be waiting, watching, listening.
The artwork is presented as a fantasy composition inspired by wilderness, guardianship, solitude, and communion with the landscape, without claiming representation of any specific living Indigenous nation or tradition.
